The
sequence of photos on this Finnish web page shows a tugboat pushing several
barges of coal down a flooded river, as it approaches a drawbridge.
For some reason the drawbridge doesn't open, so at the last moment the
tug captain releases the barges and puts his engines in reverse to avoid
a collision with the bridge. Too late! The barge hits
the bridge, turns sideways and starts to capsizes. As it rolls,
it passes under the bridge and pops up on the other side. Mostly
submerged, it passes under the bridge and comes out the other side.
The deck rises, water pours out and smoke is seen rising from the stacks,
and the captain brings it back under control! |
