| Hawaii's Big Island |

The main reason I wanted to go to the Big Island rather than any of the
other Hawaiian islands was that the Big Island has an active volcano called
Kilauea.
I spent most of a day driving around the volcano, and taking a
helicopter trip over it.
The Big Island is also home to one of the least known and least heralded, but most significant geographical features in the United States - Ka Lae, the Southernmost Point of the USA. |
