Miscellaneous Butterflies of Trinidad and Tobago

fairly dull butterfly has closed wings with white streak and dark spots

The most interesting thing about this butterfly, which might be an Urbanus of some kind, seems to be its strangely elongated tail.
I'd love to have a photograph of it with its wings fully open.

blotchy brown butterfly which looks a bit like a leaf This butterfly might be pretending to be a dead leaf, I'm not sure.

But I do know that I like those almost glowing antennae and legs!

This moderately attractive little fellow might be a Pareuptychia Hesione.

Don't you feel better for knowing that?

perhaps a Pareuptychia Hesione
